Goal
The ultimate goal was to design not only a visually appealing interface, but to create a user-centric interface for vastly complex systems that could be easily accessed and adopted by the users. The information needed to be presented in an easy to digest format as well as give immediate feedback to give users confidence in their every day operations.
Approach
To successfully transition from an Excel-based solution to a full web application for advanced demand planning, the focus was on overcoming key challenges such as data scalability, real-time processing, and user adaptability. Designing interfaces for integrating automated data imports, interactive dashboards, and ideating the implementation of backend systems, I ensured seamless workflow for users. Visually allowing for better forecasting accuracy, and streamlined collaboration.

Results
Planners now experience a significantly easier workflow, with real-time updates and automated processes replacing manual data handling. The intuitive interface has minimized the learning curve, allowing users to transition smoothly from Excel. Day-to-day tasks, such as forecasting, inventory management, and labour demand adjustments, are now more streamlined and efficient, enabling planners to focus on strategic decision-making rather than routine data entry.
